The Escola Superior Pedagógica do Bié (ESPB), a member institution of the Erasmus+ AngoSAP Consortium, was officially transformed into a Higher University Institute, renamed Instituto Superior de Ciências da Educação do Bié (ISCED-Bié).
The change of typology was formalised by Presidential Decree No 313/21 of 22 December 2025 and represents a significant step in strengthening higher education in the field of educational sciences in the province of Bié. This new institutional status will make it possible to expand the academic offer, strengthen scientific research and consolidate international cooperation, particularly within the framework of the Erasmus+ programmes.
