Erasmus+ Project AngoSAP advances in digital training for tele-orientation and tele-diagnosis with Workshop 6.

The Erasmus+ AngoSAP Project (101128979 - AngoSAP - ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE) took place on 24 February the Workshop 6: “Digital competencies for the implementation of tele-diagnosis and tele-guidance in psychological and psychopedagogical services”, with a duration of four hours and in a virtual format.

The workshop brought together lecturers, psychologists and educational professionals from the participating universities, who actively took part in training aimed at strengthening the Centres for Psychological and Psychoeducational Diagnosis and Guidance (CDOP). The activity focused on training attendees in the use of digital tools to offer psychological and educational support services in a more accessible and effective way.

Among the highlighted content covered were decision-making in digital environments and the correct choice of communication platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, considering the specific needs of each intervention. Institutional resources were also analysed, including corporate email, the virtual campus, and data storage, as well as the importance of having a stable internet connection to guarantee the quality of the sessions.

The workshop presented different intervention models: online in synchronous, asynchronous or combined modalities, face-to-face, and blended, exploring the advantages and challenges of each. Special attention was paid to the preparation of materials, such as Google Forms, informed consent protocols, pre and post-test assessments, tasks, presentations, and participant handbooks.

Furthermore, the role of the Virtual Campus was emphasised as a key space for organising content and facilitating interaction between professionals and users, highlighting the relevance of tele-diagnosis and tele-guidance as innovative tools for expanding access to psychological and psychopedagogical care.

The execution of Workshop 6 represents significant progress in the integration of digital competencies in the educational and psychological fields, reinforcing the AngoSAP Project's commitment to innovation, specialised training, and the promotion of emotional well-being in Angolan universities.
