Visit of the Erasmus+ AngoSAP Project Consortium to the CDOPs of the University of Óscar Ribas and the University of Namibe.

The Erasmus+ AngoSAP Project Consortium (101128979 - AngoSAP - ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE) visited two of the Psychological and Psycho-educational Diagnostic and Guidance Centres (CDOP) already operational in Angola, located in the Oscar Ribas University (UOR) and in the Namibe University (UNINBE). These visits allowed them to see first-hand how the centres really work and the impact they are having on their university communities.

In the Óscar Ribas University, the CDOP KificaSAP, located in the city of Luanda, is housed in a building dedicated exclusively to its activity. Together with the project coordinators at the university Inidia Rubio, Juan Abreu, Sandra Cruz and the university's vice-rector for scientific affairs and post-graduation Maria de Fátima.

The members of the Consortium were able to tour the facilities, see the workspaces and review the available equipment. They were able to see the conditions created to guarantee the quality of the services, as the Centre already has an active planning, multiple activities carried out, several events already underway and others planned, which demonstrates a high level of institutional involvement and future projection.

The visit continued in the Namibe University (UNINBE), The CDOP facilities are located in the central building of the university. The visitors could corroborate that their spaces are fully equipped and that students are already being attended to on a regular basis. Together with Jéronimo Evaristo and other representatives of the host university, all attendees saw how the forms and tools presented during the AngoSAP training workshops are applied in practice and how to evaluate their usefulness in real situations of psychological and psychoeducational care.

These visits confirm the solid progress of the Erasmus+ AngoSAP Project and reflect how the joint work between European and African universities translates into functional structures, active services and a real impact on the Angolan university community.
