The Erasmus+ AngoSAP Project (101128979 - AngoSAP - ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHEhas officially concluded the Second Stage of their training itinerary with the realisation of the Courses 8 y 9, the last two of the programme, thus marking the formal closure of this stage and consolidating significant progress in the training of the participating teams.
The Course 8 “Towards an educational and transformative approach to psychoeducational services of an inclusive, environmental, and gender-equity based nature”, allowed this training phase to conclude by focusing on the need to build guidance services that are more inclusive, sustainable, and sensitive to gender inequalities. Throughout the session, discussions were held on the role of education as a tool for social transformation, as well as on the integration of environmental perspectives into psycho-educational practice, promoting a more responsible and committed vision towards the environment.
The Course 9 “Cultural adaptation of psychological measurement instruments”, This phase was completed by addressing a key aspect for the quality of psychological assessment in diverse contexts. The importance of adequately adapting measurement instruments to different cultural and linguistic realities was worked on, guaranteeing their validity and avoiding biases that could affect the interpretation of results in diagnostic and guidance processes.
This Second Phase In terms of training, it has also been comprised of other key courses that have contributed to the comprehensive development of the CDOP staff's skills. Among them:
- Course 4 “Preventive activities within the Psycho-educational Diagnosis and Guidance Centre (CDOP)”, focused on promoting prevention strategies to anticipate and address potential issues,
- Course 5 “Psychological and psychopedagogical counselling and care activities”, focused on strengthening personalised intervention and professional support,
- Course 6 “Development of the digital skills and competencies necessary to carry out telediagnostic and tele-guidance services in psychology and psychopedagogy”, focusing on the integration of digital tools to ensure accessible care adapted to new contexts,
- Course 7 “Community social work as a fundamental premise for the psychological and psycho-pedagogical services of the CDOP”, who highlighted the importance of a community-based approach and collaboration with the social environment in intervention processes.
With the completion of these courses, Project AngoSAP concludes its Second Training Phase and moves on to the Third phase of the programme. In this new phase, the training coordinator, Dr. Álvaro Rodríguez Mora, will travel to Angola to continue with the training of staff from the Diagnostic and Psychological and Psychoeducational Guidance Centres (CDOP) of the four participating universities, Oscar Ribas University, Namibe University, Lueji A’nkonde University and the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences of Bié, thereby reinforcing the practical implementation of acquired knowledge and consolidating the development of psychoeducational services within the Angolan university context.
