The UCA is participating in 35 Erasmus+ internationalisation projects with funding exceeding €4.3 million.

The University of Cadiz is continuing its internationalisation strategy with participation in 35 internationalisation projects from the Erasmus+ programme. In the latest calls for 2023, the UCA has secured 10 new projects approved in the Cooperation Partnerships and Capacity Building modalities, achieving overall funding exceeding €4.3 million.

Among the new projects approved in 2022/23, the ANGOSAP project stands out, focusing on the Development of psychological and psychosocial support services in Angolan universities under the Capacity Building modality, which is coordinated by the UCA. Its award has placed the UCA among the 10 Spanish universities selected by the EU to improve teaching in third countries.

The topics of the newly awarded projects are very varied and in many cases multidisciplinary, involving six academic centres from the UCA: Faculty of Education Sciences (4), Higher School of Engineering (2), Faculty of Law (1), Faculty of Philosophy and Letters (1), Faculty of Nursing and Physiotherapy (1), and Faculty of Marine and Environmental Sciences (1).
