The Erasmus+ AngoSAP project holds the second general meeting since its inception at the University of Cadiz, coordinator of the Consortium.

At the University of Cadiz, the coordinators of the Erasmus+ project ANGOSAP (Ref No. 101128979 - AngoSAP - ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE) hosted the members of the consortium on 3, 4 and 5 June 2025., The aim of the 2nd general meeting of the project was to advance its objectives and plan the next steps of this ambitious project.

The meeting, organised by the coordinators of this project, the University of Cadiz (UCA) European partners of the European Commission met in person at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences and online to all Angolan partners, of the 4 Angolan Universities (Universidade Óscar Ribas, Universidade do Namibe, Universidade Lueji Ankonde, Escola Superior Pedagógica do Bié). This meeting was scheduled to be held in person by representatives of the entire Consortium, however, due to various complex formalities involved in organising the event for the Angolan partners' travellers, a hybrid meeting was finally held, connecting with the Angolan partners.

The meeting was crucial to review the progress made so far and to align strategies for the future, taking into account that the project is in its 2nd year of life, having started in December 2023 and ending next December 2026.

During the working sessions, all the progress to date of the project was presented, as well as the work plan to be developed by all the partners, in order to satisfactorily complete the project's objectives.

Essential elements of the project were presented, such as the development of educational materials, the organisation of training events and the evaluation of the initial results. Special emphasis was placed on the final implementation of all the computer equipment in all the Angolan Universities, in order to be able to offer the star service of this project: the Psychological and Psychopedagogical Diagnosis and Guidance Centres (CDOP) in each of the 4 Angolan Universities mentioned above.

Likewise, the visit of the German partners has allowed the visit to the centre of Psychological and Psychopedagogical Attention Service in the Campus of Puerto Real, thanks to which this project of Capacity Building and transfer of Good Practices has been able to transfer this service model of the UCA, adapting it to the needs of the Angolan Universities for the benefit of its participants.

The next steps include the official inauguration of the CDOP's in the 3 Angolan Universities that are still in the process of purchasing their equipment (ULAN, UNINBE and NAMIBE), as well as the visit of the coordinators (UCA) and the German partners (RUAS) to the Angolan University of NAMIBE for the 2nd face-to-face meeting of this project.

The Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation of the UCA took the opportunity of this visit of the German partners (RUAS) to study possible ways of new forms of collaboration, welcoming them with technicians from the Vice-Rectorate, as well as the Director of Language Policy, Leonor Acosta.
