Yesterday, 23rd October 2024, the 2nd AngoSAP Project Workshop took place; it is part of Course 4: Preventive Activities within the Psychoeducational Diagnostic and Guidance Centre (CDOP). This significant session in the fight against suicide was led by Dr. Miguel \u00c1ngel Rodr\u00edguez Serrano, a specialist in Developmental and Educational Psychology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop brought together participants from various Angolan universities that are part of the consortium, including \u00d3scar Ribas University, Namibe University, Lueji A\u00b4Nkonde University, and the Higher Pedagogical School of Bi\u00e9. The seminar focused on suicide prevention, a crucial topic that highlights the vital connection between mental health and emotional well-being, especially in the context of Mental Health Month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout this October, the importance of addressing mental health as a key component of suicide prevention is being emphasised, providing tools and knowledge to tackle this issue. Active participation and the exchange of ideas between universities were fundamental in enriching the experience for all attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
